Meet Andrew

More than a photographer and business owner, Andrew is a dad and husband! Andrew's passion for photography was birthed when his first child, Eden, was born. In an effort to capture every precious moment Andrew purchased his first professional camera, and the rest is history.

As a former social worker Andrew has always enjoyed making a positive impact in the lives of others. Having pivoted into the wedding photography industry, Andrew finds a lot of joy in being able to provide photos that his clients can cherish forever. Knowing that a wedding day is often a once in a lifetime experience, Andrew puts in a lot of effort to make sure every single memory is captured, so that wedding days can be relived every time his photos are viewed.

Andrew photographs according to his personality. Having a very calm demeanour, Andrew ensures that his couples are not overwhelmed with the photography experience, but rather, that they’re able to enjoy their day to the fullest, as if they’re not even being photographed. This means that couples receive short, yet helpful instructions, and that what’s most on display is their interactions with one another and their guests.

Join Andrew on a short, no-pressure consultation call if you’re looking for a wedding photographer! It’d be his joy to connect with you to discuss your special day.

About Selah Weddings

The meaning of the word selah is debated. The three most common definitions are: to pause, to contemplate, or to lift up and praise. Weddings can sometimes be overwhelming, and it’s for this reason that we approach your wedding day with a “selah” perspective in mind.

At Selah Weddings we make it our goal to cherish each moment. How is it possible to cherish a moment if you have no time to pause, consider, and enjoy it as it happens? The solution to this dilemma is selah.

Pause: Too many photographers are fixated on directing your wedding rather than documenting it. Our emphasis on capturing candid moments relieves you from having to invest valuable time into elaborate setups and awkward poses.

Contemplate: Because we flow with your wedding schedule and rarely interrupt the process, you now have time to fully engage in every moment of your special day. Barely realizing we’re there, you get to be absolutely present on one of the most important days of your life.

Lift Up and Praise: Having both the time and room to fully engage in the wedding you’ve worked hard to prepare, you can now thoroughly enjoy each moment. The selah perspective enables couples to be stress free and fully engaged with each other, their family, and friends.

We absolutely love to photograph organic moments and genuine emotions. If you’re looking for a patient, observant, and stress-free photographer for your special day, click the inquire button below.
